Google and Yahoo Joining Hands to Make a Safe and Spy Free Email System

Google and Yahoo Joining Hands to Make a Safe and Spy Free Email System

The look of yahoo mail is becoming more relative to Gmail nowadays, ever thought why? The security research officer Alex Stamos, disclosed their company’s future plan, to create and design a point to point encryption of emails by next year.

This will be a big relief for people using Yahoo mail services, as they can send secured emails and information through Yahoo servers and also extend their emails to the Gmail service. The encryption will be so critical that there will be no room for hacking or leakage of data.
Yahoo and Google seem to work together, for much safer email encryptions
Stamos mentioned in one of his comments; “If an activist in Sudan wants to email a human rights organization’s Gmail address and they have encryption set up for it, it will automatically detect that and offer them the option to encrypt.”
It is yet to confirm whether the email would be encrypted right from the subject line or just the message inside. Google has also shown keen interest in this process and would like to work together with Yahoo to make a hacker free email system.
Stamos commented on the above explanation by an example that he spoke recently; “We have to make it to clear to people it is not secret you’re emailing your priest,” Mr Stamos said. “But the content of what you’re emailing him is secret.”
The feature of secured encryption would be developed as an optional feature for the users who can turn it on for confidential messages. To an extent, the users will have the liberty and rights on these encryption codes and passwords, especially for their laptops, smartphones and tabs. This means, this would not allow even the servers or companies to hold the end user’s password data or credentials for their security.
